For educators: There are activities, videos, and lesson plans for all school age children, K-12. This information will support our district adopted curriculum for Learning.com's EasyTech for grades K-8. There are many more activities specifically targeted for teens in grades 9-12.
For parents: You will find up-to-date information on how to recognize if your child is being targeted by an online predator. There is information for setting expectations with your child on the proper use of internet resources at home and in school.
For students: Access many fun activities and information to learn the proper use of Internet resources that are available to you at home and at school.
Let's make Internet safety a "top priority" in our schools. There are vast amounts of "good" information available on the Internet. It is our responsibility to help our students become knowledgeable cyber citizens.
Director of Technology
Our children are our Nation's most valuable asset. They represent the bright future of our country and hold our hopes for a better Nation. Our children are also the most vulnerable members of society. Protecting our children against the fear of crime and from becoming victims of crime must be a national priority.
Unfortunately the same advances in computer and telecommunication technology that allow our children to reach out to new sources of knowledge and cultural experiences are also leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and harm by computer-sex offenders.
