New Ennis ISD Superintendent

The Ennis ISD Board of Trustees is proud to announce Dr. Greg Bradley as the Lone Finalist for the position of EISD Superintendent. Dr. Bradley has been with Prosper ISD since 2012 and is currently the Deputy Superintendent. Prior to this position, Dr. Bradley served as the Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations and Middle School Principal within Prosper ISD. Dr. Bradley also serves as an Adjunct Professor for Dallas Baptist University, where he instructs doctoral students in School Finance.
Prosper ISD is the fastest growing district in the state of Texas, growing from 7,060 in 2014-2015 to a current enrollment of over 32,000 students. Dr. Bradley has made significant contributions by developing the construction and rollout strategy for a successful $2.8 billion bond election in November 2023 and added $60 million to the district's fund balance over six years.

EISD Board President, Mr. Bramlet Beard stated, “We are very excited to name Dr. Bradley as the Lone Finalist to lead our district as the next superintendent. We had a lot of great applicants but we felt with his experience and leadership qualities, he was the best fit for Ennis ISD.”
Raised in Hughes Springs, Texas, Dr. Bradley began his academic journey at Howard Payne University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. During his undergraduate years, he demonstrated leadership potential by serving as Student Body President. He continued his education at Dallas Baptist University, earning a Master of Education degree and Doctorate of Education.

“I am thrilled and deeply honored to join the Ennis ISD family as superintendent. Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about building dynamic educational environments where students thrive, and I immediately connected with the board of education and their vision of excellence. Ennis ISD’s rich history, commitment to student achievement, and deep community roots create the perfect foundation for educational innovation and growth. I look forward to working alongside the dedicated educators, staff, parents, and community members to build upon Ennis ISD’s tradition of excellence while preparing our students for future success. Together, we’ll continue the Lion Pride Way as we write the next chapter in this remarkable district’s story.”, Dr. Greg Bradley.
Dr. Bradley has been married to his wife, Melody, for 21 years. They have two daughters, Kiersi, who attends Texas A&M University, and Kayden, who is a senior at Prosper High School. He has been a member of Prestonwood North Church for 16 years and proudly serves as a deacon there. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and golfing.

Board President Beard emphasized, “All trustees took this task very seriously and we feel we did a thorough job in the interview process.”
The EISD Board of Trustees saw 74 individuals apply for the position. The Board of Trustees worked closely with a search firm to vet the individuals who interviewed. The 74 were narrowed to 16, who submitted a personal video to Trustees for the first screening process. At that point, Trustees brought in 6 possible candidates for interviews. For the 3rd round, 4 applicants received a more in-depth interview. Then for a final discussion, the Trustees hosted a dinner, along with their spouses, Dr. Bradley, and his wife.
State law requires a 21-day waiting period before making the position official. The Board will schedule a meeting to take official action later in the month at the completion of the 21-day period.
