    Helping Hands of Ennis

    Provide  food, clothing, and financial (rent/mortgage, and some utility bills) assistance to families in crisis.  Assistance is subject to the qualification of clients, and utility providers involved. 

    Give a Kid a Chance

     A huge back to school event (Saturday before school starts) is hosted every year that provides the following services to students and families.

    Meals on Wheels - Ellis Co

    Meals on Wheels North Central Texas is a community-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves homebound seniors and disabled persons. Must reside within the service are. Primarily homebound or have little or no help. Have physical or mental impairements, which make meal preparation difficult.

     Across Ennis

    ACROSS is a grassroots organization that was formed in Ennis, Texas in 1993 to provide temporary housing to local individuals and families who are homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless due to a crisis. Our goal is to provide a safe place for these people to get back on their feet.

    Hope Clinic Ennis

    Hope Clinic provides behavioral health services, pediatrics, adult medicine, women's health, dental, and more. 

    Drug Prevention Resources - Impact Waxahachie

    Offers coaching to students, one on one mentoring, no referral needed, just call in, on-line “meeting” also available and drug prevention classes

    Runnin' Free Ranch

    Provides a non-judgmental, non-pressured environment where veterans, at-risk youth, those with special needs and their families can experience HOPE, positive LIFE-changing relationships and FREEDOM through the facilitation of equine assisted counseling/activities.

    Children's Advocacy Center - Waxahachie

    Nonprofit organization that responds to reports of child abuse and child sexual assault through a multi-disciplinary approach and provides family advocacy, forensic interviews, and mental health services for children and their families.  

    CASA of Ellis County

    Dedicated to improving the lives of abused and neglected children in our County. CASA recruits, trains and supervises volunteers who are selected to act as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) to be a voice for the child in court.

  • Ennis Counseling Center - Providing Professional Counseling services to Ellis, Navarro, and surrounding counties. Ennis Counseling Center is focused on providing Professional Counseling services with integrity and compassion to bring our clients hope and healing.  We have three counselors to choose from and we specialize in a variety of mental health issues.

    Runnin' Free Ranch - The mission of Runnin Free Ranch is to provide a non-judgmental, non-pressured environment where veterans, at-risk youth, those with special needs and their families can experience freedom, hope and positive life-changing relationships through the facilitation of equine assisted activities and counseling.

    Quest Counseling 2  

    Bluebonnet Wellness Center - We are a boutique Wellness & Mindfulness program. We offer Licensed Counseling, Yoga, Pilates, AHA CPR, trauma-survivor care, nutrition education, personal training, dance/movement therapy, environmental cleansing, cooking classes, & guided meditation.
