Bowie Difference Makers!
"We are the “Difference Makers!” Welcome, Bowie students, parents, and community to the 2022-2023 School Year! At Bowie, we continue to be committed to ensuring that we provide a safe, secure, and nurturing learning environment that provides your child with a quality education and helps parents become part of the learning process.
It will take all of us caring, working hard, and holding the expectations to ensure a successful and safe school year. We are continuing year five of PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) this year and initiating the "Lion Pride Way" structure. Both concepts will give the students a real part of leadership, ownership in the building, positive behavior, reinforcement of the safety of the school, and much more. We are also setting our expectations high for our academic culture, and high expectations that students will be good citizens at school and in the community.
Parents, you are a vital component to the achievement and success of your children. We can’t do it without you. You are difference-makers too! We look forward to parents working hard on goals to be successful, providing consistent attendance, and supporting daily work. We also need parents to help at school. Get involved! Volunteer at school and/or check out our PTO! If you have any questions about how you can help, please give us a call.
Together we can work hard, stay safe and achieve our goals while meeting our expectations. We all have the responsibility to create a legacy of learning for our children. “The Difference Makers” look forward to working with all of you and educating “our” children this year! We must believe to achieve and make sure all of us can contribute to making Bowie the best Elementary!
