Officer Michael Barron is located at Alamo Middle School and also serves the students and staff at Austin Elementary School and Jack Lummus Intermediate School. Officer Barron began his law enforcement career in 2015 at the Navarro College Department of Public Safety. Prior to starting his career with Ennis ISD Police Department, he served 3 years at Waxahachie ISD as a Security Officer. Officer Barron holds an Intermediate Peace Officer License from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). Officer Barron also serves as the department's Truancy Officer.
