Response to Intervention (RtI) is a multi-tiered approach to help struggling learners. Students' progress is closely monitored at each stage of intervention to determine the need for further research-based instruction and/or intervention in a general education setting. Response to Intervention is a process which includes the provision of systematic, research-based instruction and interventions to struggling learners. The student intervention team (C.A.R.E. team) has been created on each campus to assist with intervention planning.
